Free AFR Widget for Your Website

Embed the current IRS Applicable Federal Rates on your site. Rates update automatically every month, the styling adapts to your brand, and installation is one line of HTML.

This is it, live

The widget below is the real embed rendering this month’s rates. What you see is what your visitors get.

Why put it on your site

Always current, zero maintenance

The IRS publishes new AFRs every month. The widget reads from our table, which we refresh from each revenue ruling, so your page never shows stale rates.

One line of HTML

Paste a single script tag where the rates should appear. The widget renders in a sandboxed iframe, so it cannot conflict with your styles or scripts.

Styled to match your brand

Light and dark themes, your own accent color, and a compact mode. Configure it visually in the docs and copy a ready-made snippet.

Install in two minutes

Copy this where you want the rates to appear:

<script async src="https://familyloantracker.com/widgets/afr.js"></script>

Want a dark theme, your brand color, or a no-script variant?

Built for people who write about money

Financial advisors, estate planners, CPA blogs, personal-finance writers and tool sites all reference the AFR when they explain family loans. Instead of quoting a rate that goes stale next month, embed the live table once and cite it forever. Your readers get current numbers, and your page stays accurate without edits.

Frequently asked questions

Is the widget really free?

Yes. Free with no signup, no API key and no usage limits. It includes a small attribution link to Family Loan Tracker, which is how the free widget pays for itself.

Where do the rates come from?

From the monthly IRS revenue rulings (Table 1, annual compounding). We update our data every month when the IRS publishes the next ruling, and every embedded widget reflects it automatically.

Will it slow down or break my site?

No. The widget is a lazy-loaded iframe injected by a tiny script. It runs no code on your page beyond sizing the frame, sets no cookies, and tracks none of your visitors.

Can I change how it looks?

Yes. Light or dark theme, any accent color and a compact mode, all configured with data-attributes on the script tag. The docs page has a live configurator that writes the snippet for you.
